HEXACO is a six-dimension model of personality built from the same lexical research the Big Five came out of — with one dimension the Big Five never separated out. Every dimension below is described from both ends, because both ends are real dispositions with real advantages, and a personality app that only flatters one end is not measuring anything.
Five of the six map closely onto the Big Five: Extraversion, Conscientiousness and Openness carry over almost unchanged, while HEXACO's Emotionality and Agreeableness redistribute what the Big Five calls Neuroticism and Agreeableness. The sixth, Honesty-Humility, is genuinely new — sincerity, fairness, greed avoidance and modesty — and it is the reason the model exists. It predicts things the Big Five is blind to, and it is the dimension people most dislike being measured on.
How much the game of status, image, and advantage pulls at you, and how willing you are to play it. There is no right end here: one is content to go unnoticed, the other is built to compete.
